Dakota is one of the Clé de Peau Beauté’s Newest Global Ambassador. She joined the Clé de Peau Beauté’s family this year with Ella Balinska and Diana Silvers.
“It’s an honor — not just to be asked to represent such a distinguished luxury brand, but also to take on this role with incredible women like Ella and Diana,” Fanning told WWD. “They are both such talented artists in such distinct ways, and that’s something about Clé de Peau Beauté that really speaks to me.”
“I’m excited to be able to represent a brand that I genuinely believe in. Their products are luxurious and of high quality,” Fanning continued. “Clé de Peau Beauté also puts a lot of energy and effort into giving back to young women around the world through their philanthropy.” – WWD

Dakota adds another project to her list Ripley, she will join Andrew Scott in the drama series based on Patricia Highsmith’s Tom Ripley novels.
From Oscar winner Steven Zaillian (Schindler’s List, The Night Of), Scott stars as Tom Ripley, a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York who is hired by a wealthy businessman to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son to return home. Tom’s acceptance of the job is his first step into a complex life of deceit.
Fanning will portray Marge Sherwood, an American living in Italy who suspects darker motives underlie Tom’s affability.
“Dakota Fanning is the perfect choice to play the deliciously complicated Marge opposite Andrew Scott’s Tom Ripley,” said Amy Israel, exec vp scripted programming at Showtime. “She’s an actor that brings smarts and vulnerability to every part, with so much bubbling beneath the surface. We can’t wait to see her sink her teeth into this role in Steve Zallian’s Ripley.” – The Hollywood Reporter
While there aren’t any new photos, the gallery has been updated with some personal photos that came out in the past few months.
Dakota and Elle have teamed up together to launch Lewellen Pictures production company, they have entered a first-look television deal with the studio, a joint venture between UTA and MRC.
“We are thrilled to be launching this company together and to be teaming up with MRC who have been excellent partners on The Great. Our goal is to tell stories, through comedy and drama, which are authentic to the human experience, and not just from our own perspective,” said the Fannings in a joint statement. “We also want to create content that we wouldn’t be able to make just as actors. We can learn so much when we look outside our specific points of view. We have been fortunate to work with many brilliant storytellers and hope to continue that track while also providing opportunities for many more.” – Deadline
And it looks like they are already working on their first project.
Their first project under the pact is an adaptation of Megan Miranda’s bestselling novel The Last House Guest, which is being developed as a crime thriller series. Sarah Walker (The Secrets She Keeps, Wentworth) will write and executive produce the series. It centers on an intimate friendship between two girls who fall violently in love with each other’s differences, which, in the end, create doubt, betrayal and tragedy. The Fannings will executive produce alongside Brittany Kahan Ward and Mary Jane Skalski for Echo Lake Entertainment – Deadline
